Have you ever noticed how an attractive, popular person can say something strange and everyone will laugh approvingly; but when an unattractive, unpopular person says the exact same thing they get tenative stares and repressed giggles of disdain?

Have you ever noticed how a supermodel can wear a shredded tarp and be considered high-fashion, trendy; but when a moderately fat woman dons the exact same garment she has "no fashion sense at all" and looks "just terrible"?
And...
Have you ever noticed how a skinny person can help themselves to five platefulls of unhealthy food, finish it all, and people will think it's cute; but when a fat person does the same, it's kind of disgusting?
